You have to listen to your body to determine what is right for you. It will tell you if you are a morning person or a night owl. If you wait until you are tired before hitting the sheets you will not waste time staring at the ceiling waiting to fall asleep.

Often people loose sleep because they wake up in the middle of the night. Pay attention if this happens to you a lot. You may want to see a doctor to determine if there is a medical reason you are not sleeping through the night. It may be caused by sleep apnea or some other health-related source.

Sometimes people find themselves waking up because something else is bothering them. This can be a noise outside or a bothersome streetlight shining through the window. Shut the windows or by light blocking shades to make sure you’re sleep is undisturbed.

A Story About The Precious Nature Of Our Time

The time we spend with our children is very precious, and this story will emphasize that even more. If you’re a parent with younger children, this story is virtually essential.

After a long and very tiring day at work a man was greeted by his son with a question; “what do you get paid every hour, dad?”

This wasn’t quite the welcome home he had expected, but he answered his son honestly “I get $20 an hour”.

Before he had a chance to ask his kid why he wanted to know, his son asked another question “cool dad, so could you give me $10?”.

If the first question was unexpected, the second one floored him completely. Money was tight and he had to work very hard for his pay check, so his son was bang out of order.

The man was furious and told his son so. He also made it quite clear that if he ever asked for money that way again there would be serious repercussions.

The boy was bitterly disappointed by the way his father had reacted and he walked away quietly and sadly.

That night as he was tucking his son into bed, he started to feel guilty about what had happened earlier and got a $10 bill from his wallet and gave it to his son.

A smile spread across the boys face and he dived under his pillow and pulled out ten $1 bills. His dad got really upset then and asked why he had asked him for money when he already had some.

Taking a deep breath and looking his dad straight in he eye, the child replied “I’m buying an hour of your time dad with this $20……”

At the end of the day, nothing can be as soothing and relaxing as a warm bath. I would advise taking it with your favorite tunes and just savor the moment. This can be your way of pampering yourself every now and then.

You can also read a book as a form of relaxation. Read up on your favorite novels and just enjoy some quite time for yourself. Perhaps you can also organize a gathering at the end of the month with your friends to discuss the books that you’ve read within the month.

Lastly, running is also a great way to unwind. Well it is may seem stressful at first glance but I often feel a deep sense of relaxation after a great run. Sleeping has been a lot better and I feel physically great when doing my runs.

I personally prefer jumping right in to a soothing warm bath right after a good routine run that keeps me feeling great all day.
